Both of the options have absolute and comparative advantages. Though, I see many residents might prefer Option A. If I had to make a choice, however, I would choose option B because of several reasons.
On the one hand, as far as I know there are only few residents in our community resale used furniture, other just prefer to dispose. I understand online selling is one of available option but it involves various concerns such as taking photos, post online on appropriate website, customer visits home, respond to phone calls or email and price decisioning. Secondly, many elder people are not aware about online selling options. Option B would definitely solve most of the these concerns and help to avoid unnecessary waste.
On the other hand, vegetables and fruits are very common in nearby wholesale stores. These stores sells all types of fruits and vegetables at very low cost. I am afraid residents cultivated fruits and vegetables would be more expensive then local stores.
So for the reasons that I have outlines, option B is the better choice.
